Annual In-Services

You're almost there! This is the last step to completing your Annual Team Member Requirements.

  • Click on the "Go To Course" button next to the description 
    • You'll be directed to the course within the EdApp
  • Successfully pass each course with 70% or better to be issued a certificate.
    • PHCS is automatically notified of each completion.
    • When all courses have been passed successfully, you're done!
  • The PHCS Office Team will review and let you know if there is anything missing, and if done by the deadline, which incentive you're eligible to receive.

What Courses Do I Need to Take? 

The following are the required annual in-service courses for all team members. They are marked to make it clear which courses are required by position.

  • Courses marked "ALL" must be taken by everyone regardless of position.
  • Courses marked "Aide" are required for home health aides only.
  • DODD coursework is required for all Team Members with clients receiving care under DODD waivers.
    • This includes those with an ISP, IO waiver, Level 1 waiver, Self, etc.

Home Health Aide Continuing Education
Advance your skills and learn more about your position as a Home Health Aide. This year's training focuses on 3 key areas:

  • Skin and Wound Care for the Paraprofessional
  • Supporting Older Adults & Those with Age-Related Health Conditions
  • Supporting Basic Nutrition & Fluid Balance
  • Meeting Special Care Needs

DODD
DODD DSP Annual Training
Training for ALL Team Members with DODD clients. These clients will have an ISP and you will likely work codes such as ASA, FPC, HPC, etc.


Note: This training REPLACE the DODD MyLearning coursework. If you prefer to take them through MyLearning or have already done so for 2024, please send us your completion certificate.
